The trust deed of 'Prime Financial First Unit Fund' was signed between Prime Finance & Investment Limited and Bangladesh General Insurance Company (BGIC) in the city recently.
This is the first private sector open-end fund approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and sponsored by Prime Finance & Investment Limited with initial size of Tk 200 million.
Prime Finance Asset Management Company Limited (PAMC) will be managing the asset of this fund.
On behalf of the sponsor, Md. Akter Hossain Sannamat, Managing Director, Md. Ahsan Kabir Khan, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Rezaul Haque, Head of Merchant Bank, Md. Mizanur Rahman, CFO & Head of HR were present.
As trustee Md AKAH Chaudhuri, Managing Director, Anisuz Zaman Chowdhury, Financial Consultant, and Debobroto Banik, General Manager attended the ceremony.
Moin Al Kashem, Managing Director & CEO of Prime Finance Asset Management as well Hasan Imam, Manager, Finance & HRM and Moinul Islam, Manager Fund were also present.
The entry of 'Prime Financial First Unit Fund' is part of the progressing trend towards a very bright future for capital market of Bangladesh through professional fund management.
