Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has finally proposed to start trading session from 10.30 am instead of 11:00 am.
It also fixed debut trading of ICB AMCL 3rd NRB Mutual Fund in the bourse from Monday.
The DSE board of directors took these decisions on Thursday.
The DSE has sent its proposal of change of trading hour to the Securities and Exchange Commission for approval.
The DSE decided to start trading from 10.30am to match with the banking hours.
The DSE said a lot of investors have urged the DSE to revise the trading hour as the present time consume a majority time of the day.
An SEC official said the regulatory body would consider the issue after getting similar proposal from Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
The 10-year fund ---Third ICB NRB Mutual Fund--- has a size of Tk 1.0 billion and its each unit price is Tk 10.
Of the total size, 80 per cent has been allocated for public and 10 per cent for sponsor and pre-IPO placement each.
The fund is the 26th mutual fund listed with Dhaka Stock Exchange. Mutual fund accounts for 1.39 per cent of the DSE's total market capitalization.
The board accepted resignation of Ahmad Rashid Lali, immediate member of DSE board of directors, from four committees of the DSE. He resigned on his personal ground.
The four committees are: Business development committee, Committee for implementation of OTC market, Committee for formation clearing company and Committee for trading and capital market development.
It also decided to go for further action against Pragati's land sale after taking legal opinion from lawyers.
